Rangeway Energy, Inc. ("Rangeway," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at rangewayev.com and related subdomains (collectively, the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

We collect only the information you provide directly or that is generated through ordinary website analytics.
Information you provide:
- Contact form submissions: When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, interest category, and message.
- Field Notes newsletter subscriptions: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. Field Notes is operated through Buttondown, a third-party newsletter platform.
Information collected automatically:
- Analytics: We use Tinylytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how visitors use the Site. Tinylytics collects aggregated, non-identifying information such as page views, referring URLs, browser type, and coarse geographic region (for example, country or state). Tinylytics does not use cookies or fingerprinting and does not track individual users across sites.
Information we do not collect:
- We do not use cookies.
- We do not use advertising or retargeting trackers.
- We do not collect financial information, account credentials, or sensitive personal information through the Site.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries submitted through the contact form
- To route your inquiry to the appropriate internal team (press, investor relations, partnerships, careers, or general)
- To send you Field Notes newsletter emails if you subscribed

3. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate the Site:
- GitHub Pages: Hosts the Site.
- Formsubmit.co: Processes contact form submissions and routes them to our internal email inbox.
- Buttondown: Operates our Field Notes newsletter. Subscriber email addresses are stored by Buttondown under their privacy practices, available at buttondown.com/privacy.
- Tinylytics: Provides aggregated website analytics. Tinylytics' privacy practices are available at tinylytics.app.
Each of these providers processes data according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- With the third-party service providers listed above, as necessary to operate the Site
- When required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or government request
- To protect our legal rights, prevent fraud, or address security concerns
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, in which case we will notify affected users
